The wines of Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera achieve a historic result in Mundus Vini, with three gold medals. This time, the awarded wines have been Cueva del Chamán Blanco Verdejo 2021, Cueva del Chamán Roble Monastrell 2022 and Rupestre de Alpera Reserva 2018, all of them with gold medal in this wine competition that is considered one of the most important in Germany and also in all Europe.
These three medals confirm the best historical results of Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera in this competition, which has a jury formed by professionals from more than 40 countries and in which 11,000 wines from all over the world are tasted. In previous editions, awards such as the silver medal that Cueva del Chamán Roble Monastrell won in 2020 or the Gold medal that our Gold Rupestre 2017 won in the 2020 edition stand out. In 2021, Rupestre de Alpera Esencia was also awarded a silver medal.
Jorge Morales, commercial director of Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera, has highlighted the importance of these “historic results for our wines in Mundus Vini”, which confirms “the great international projection that our wines have not only in 2023 but also for the coming years. It is a recognition of the great work being done by all the professionals of our winery”. In this sense, Morales highlights the arrival in a few weeks of the Prowein fair, where our winery will once again have its own stand to present our wines in Dusseldorf (Germany), from Sunday, March 19 to March 21.
