Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera has received one of the most important awards in its history, with a recognition that had never been achieved before. Cueva del Chamán Rosé Syrah has won the Grand Gold medal at the 2023 edition of the Brussels World Wine Competition, placing it among the 14 best rosé wines in the world.

Cueva del Chamán Rosé Syrah is thus placed at the top of the results of the competition in the session of rosé wines, being one of only three wines from Spain that have achieved a Grand Gold in this edition. On this occasion, the jury of professionals of the Brussels World Wine Competition evaluated a total of 1150 samples of wines from wineries around the world, among which was our wine, made with 100% Syrah grape variety.

In addition, it is also history for the Almansa Denomination of Origin, since it is the second time since this competition exists in which one of the wines of the DO Almansa gets this maximum recognition of Gran Oro. We can only congratulate the entire team of professionals of Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera after this award, a fact that reinforces the great work that is being done throughout the year in the winery and that is bringing international recognitions such as this one.
