The harvest began with the night harvest of the white varieties that were already at their optimum point for harvesting: Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"responsive-video-wrap clr\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u00a1Comienza la vendimia 2023 en Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera!www.bodegasantacruz.com\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6UJ_KE8vQEo?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/bodegasantacruz.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n<p>This first harvest took place on the outskirts of Alpera, in an area close to the town. Despite the high temperatures, the vines have very favourable conditions, so it is expected that the resulting white wines from this vintage will once again be excellent. It should be noted that this year, due to the heat, the grapes were harvested earlier than in previous years.
