The Almansa Wine Route is already a reality… and the wine tourism package that we have prepared at Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera to enjoy a day in Alpera is not to be missed this autumn! But first, you need to know the important points of this wine tourism package that we have launched to coincide with the launch of the Almansa Wine Route: what does this wine tourism package include?<\/p>\n\n

We will start with a guided tour of Alpera (from 9:30h to 11:30h) which includes the following itinerary. We will start the visit at the Aula de Interpretaci\u00f3n Pozo de la Nieve, and then we will visit the Pozo de la Nieve, one of the largest snow pits in Spain and the largest in Castilla-La Mancha.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
We will continue our journey with a visit to the Parque Periurbano de la Mejorada (a natural park with centenary holm oak groves, a walk enjoying nature and transporting us to what was once the landscape of the whole of what is now the town of Alpera).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Afterwards, we will go to the Alpera Municipal Market (built at the end of the 1950s, it is still in operation today). It is located between Calle San Roque and Paseo de la Constituci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Finally, we will visit our heritage jewel: the Cueva de la Vieja (one of the most important cave art sites in the eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
*The itinerary can be modified at the visitor’s request, replacing the Mejorada Park and the Municipal Market with the Santa Marina Parish Church, the Old Washhouse and the San Roque Chapel.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n
After this urban tour, the next stop will be at the facilities of Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera. We will get to know the details and secrets of our winery, we will learn about the winemaking process and, finally, we will have a tasting of the best selection of our wines. Later, we will stop for lunch, around 14-14.30 at Los Arcos Restaurant or El Cazador Restaurant. To finish the day, we will stay at the Hostal El Cazador.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n
